Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien III
Chairman
Mr. de Gaspé Beaubien , who has been a director since July 14, 2004, is Chief Executive Officer of Telemedia Ventures Inc. Prior to this appointment, Mr. de Gaspé Beaubien was President of Gasbeau Company, where one of his main responsibilities was the development and implementation of the company’s investment activities as well as the operating management of its ventures. Mr. de Gaspé Beaubien is a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA) and of the investment analyst-training program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.


Majed Sifri
President and CEO
Mr. Sifri, who has been a director since July 14, 2004, has extensive experience in information technology and telecommunications, having founded and led several companies in these fields, including: CTI Datacom (Chair and CEO), an International communication network services firm; SIC partnership (Managing Partner), an investment management partnership; and Applications Technologies Inc., a Virginia-based software company, which was sold in 1998 to Lernout & Hauspie (L&H). He also founded Polymore Circuit Technologies, a Tennessee-based innovative circuit board manufacturing company. Mr. Sifri also serves on the board of the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) and the Wireless Communications Association International (WCA). Mr. Sifri holds an MBA degree in Finance from George Washington University and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Washington College of Law at American University.
Mihnea (Mike) Moldoveanu
Founder and Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Moldoveanu, who has been a director since July 14, 2004, has built and managed the Group’s core technology team since its founding in 1999, articulated the product vision, raised seed and A-round financing
and has been in charge of the Group’s technology portfolio. Previously as founder, President and CEO of Hefaistos, Inc., a Markham, Ontario based company, he built and managed the team that created and prototyped the first Canadian Eureka-147-compliant, OFDM-based digital audio broadcasting product and developed a software-centric digital subscriber line modem for high speed, OFDM-based copper-line communications. Dr. Moldoveanu received mechanical engineering degrees from MIT in 1991 and 1992 and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School in 1997.
Thomas Hearne
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hearne, who was appointed a director on November 28, 2006, brings more than 15 years of financial management and advisory experience to the Group. Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Hearne was CFO for
Delano Technology Corporation where he successfully led Delano to its NASDAQ IPO. Mr. Hearne also held the role of CFO at Open Text Corporation, a public company trading on NASDAQ and the Toronto Stock
Exchange, where he was responsible for their financial management, acquisition planning and investor relations. Mr. Hearne has also held the roles of VP of Finance at Algorithmics Inc. and European Controller at
Alias Research Inc. Mr. Hearne holds an MBA from York University, a Bachelor of Economics from Trent University and earned the professional certification of Chartered Accountant.

Timothy Dibble
Mr. Dibble, who has been a director since August 11, 2004, founded, and is currently Managing General Partner of, Alta Communications, a private equity firm headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. In such capacity, Mr. Dibble sits on the board of numerous media and communications companies. Mr. Dibble began his career in 1986 at the Bank of Boston in the Acquisition Finance Division, structuring and monitoring the performance of management buyouts in cash flow industries. Mr. Dibble received a degree in economics from Wesleyan University in 1986. He is currently Chairman of the Board of both Year Up (yearup.org) and The Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay and is on the Development Committee of Right to Play.
Mahesh Vaidya
Mahesh Vaidya, who has been a director since September 20, 2005, is Vice President of GF Private Equity Group and is also a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Vaidya divides his time between basic
investment research, venture capital fund analysis, and direct private equity investments in a variety of high tech portfolio companies. Mr. Vaidya began his career in the information technology area and has worked for companies in the financial services and enterprise software industries in India, Japan, Singapore, and the United States. He is currently a director of NOVX Systems, Prismedical Corporation and Venda Ltd. Mr. Vaidya has an M.Tech. in Nuclear Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur, India, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
