Redline Founder and CTO Named to Canada’s Top 40 Under 40

Toronto, ON, May 9, 2008 -- Redline Communications Group Inc. (TSX and AIM: RDL), a leading provider of WiMAX broadband wireless products, today announced the company’s Founder and Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Mihnea Moldoveanu, has been named as a recipient of this year’s Canada Top 40 Under 40 awards. Mihnea received the award at a reception on May 6 in Toronto.

Canada's Top 40 Under 40™ is a prestigious national award program, which annually honours 40 Canadians in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors under the age of 40. The program, now in its 13th year, is managed by founding sponsor, The Caldwell Partners. Mihnea was selected from over 1,500 nominees by an independent Advisory Board, comprised of 27 business leaders from across Canada. Honorees were chosen on five key criteria including: vision and leadership; innovation and achievement; impact; community involvement and contribution; and strategy for growth.

Dr. Moldoveanu received mechanical engineering degrees from MIT in 1991 and 1992 and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School in 1997. He has built and managed Redline's core technology team from the company's founding, articulated the product vision, raised seed and A-round financing and developed the strategy behind the company's technology portfolio. He was previously Founder and CEO of Hefaistos, Inc. the developer of one of the first soft-DSL modems in the world. He is also Director of the Desautels Centre for Integrative Thinking at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, which is aiming to be the world’s pre-eminent think tank on the development of cognitive skills for high-value-added executives.
