Redline's RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX products are the a latest addition to its RedMAX family of WiMAX products, which includes the world’s first complete WiMAX Forum Certified™ system.
Designed in compliance to the IEEE 802.16e-2005 standards for mobile WiMAX and for operation in the 1.8 GHz, 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz bands, Redline's RedMAX 4C products support a range of applications for carrier and Smart Grid network deployments.
The RedMAX 4C SC-100e offers carriers, energy companies including utility and oil and gas organizations, and other network operators in key vertical markets, a cost-effective and high capacity solution to establish a wireless network using the most advanced WiMAX technology available today. Based upon the PHY (Physical Layer) and MAC (Medium Access Control Layer) that Redline developed for its award winning RedMAX 4C products, the SC-100e is small, lightweight and easy-to install and offers a flexible design that supports up to three high-power radios within a single 1U base station unit, making it one of the smallest, most cost-effective macro base station Mobile WiMAX solutions available today. The SC-100e also enables a smooth transition to Redline’s chassis-based RedMAX 4C SC-1000 base station as operators grow their networks.
The RedMAX 4C SC-1000 Mobile WiMAX platform will enable operators to maximize the reach and achieve the customer density required for a profitable carrier business model. Redline’s new WiMAX offering is also designed to facilitate the integration of its existing RedMAX products with its RedMAX 4C technologies, providing operators a path to deploy WiMAX today, introduce 802.16e as required and evolve to technologies that incorporate 802.16m which is the WiMAX industry standard for true mobility.
The RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX product family will include the RedMAX 4C base station (SCS1000), indoor and outdoor subscriber units and PCMCIA cards.
