In phase 1, Redline introduced the RedMAX AN-100U base station and RedMAX Outdoor Subscriber Unit (SU-O), which form the basis of Redline’s first 802.16-2004-based WiMAX system – the world’s first WiMAX Forum Certified system.
The RedMAX system is based on Time Division Duplexing (TDD), which offers distinct advantages over other systems, delivering superior spectral efficiency and IP traffic management.
Operators are also benefiting from the RedMAX Management Suite (RMS) which incorporates an open architecture for third party integration and management which seamlessly integrates with operator’s existing OSS for a true carrier-class network.
